Alright OKs

in rehearsal 2014, live at the Root Cellar 2023, karaoke instrumental

Thought you might get a kick out of how ‘Alright Ok’ has gotten pushed around over the years.

The first track is a rehearsal version marked June 5,2014 I found in my voice memos. The Emergency was trying different feels and this one I marked "groovy best". Maybe we should have run with it! Dave Marsh on drums, Chris Pennell on bass & Johnny Boudreau playing some funky clavinet. Couldn't remember half the words yet but it's fun work in progress.

The second was recorded live at the Root Cellar in London, Ontario on August 18, 2023. Richard Gracious opened the show, did sound and tracked the show on my Tascam 288.  Loved the two shows I did there and the audience clapping along at high volume kept me on the highway.  I'm always outta breath at the end of this one.

Lastly - I’ve included the instrumental in case you wanna rock a karaoke version at your next shindig.
