In Need of Medical Attention was recorded in 1998 on my four track cassette and the old Hermit 8 track machine and I mixed it with Rick White at his Stereo Mountain studio in Moncton. Rick at the time was pretty much nocturnal so we’d start at midnight and work til 6am. The album remains close to my heart as it’s what sparked the original five piece Emergency band shows & set me on a path to new music and exploration as the Hermit wound down at the end of of the millennium.
