That I cannot remember- it was 1998 :) . It was likely recorded on my first Tascam 244 or possibly Dave Marsh’s four track. Probably a Realistic PZM and a couple 57 or whatever was handy. Or maybe we somehow lined a few things in ? I’ll have to dig up the unmixed 4 track tape at some point - that snippet was from an old tape of the mix that got digitized . It doesn’t sound too bad all things considered !
Fantastic photos and videos Joel of the show and things your cover of I Lost It is really great I’ve heard the original tune before a few years ago but I haven’t listened to a full Lucinda Williams album before so I’ll give one of her albums a listen very soon! :)
I had the pleasure of a fine seat at the 2nd Lucinda show, really great stuff right across the board. I know every word on Car Wheels and it was a treat to see it re-interpreted so thoughtfully. I have a great video to share if yer interested, might have been a good addition to this post. That's about as overdriven of a guitar tone as you will typically hear :)

I was just listening to that album just an hour ago it’s a really amazing album and you’re right it truly is a desert island pick!
